Each session in this series highlights a different key practice to support high-quality interactions in Pre-K settings. Workshops are offered on various dates for 45 minutes each session. All workshops will be held virtually for your convenience, and three of the sessions are also offered in Spanish. Choose each session that supports your professional development goals.

Overview for Leaders
Overview for Leaders equips you with a solid understanding of the CLASS tool, explores the research behind impactful educator-child interactions, and provides essential guidance for your CLASS implementation. Introduction to Interactions for Educators
Introduction to Interactions for Educators equips educators with practical strategies to enhance their practice, fostering a shared appreciation for the transformative impact of interactions. This program focuses on introducing the core principles of CLASS, illustrating interactions in real-world contexts, and offering actionable strategies that can be implemented immediately.

CLASS New Observer Training Opportunities
Certified CLASS Observers play a critical role in supporting organizations' continuous quality improvements. Without the data insights collected from the observations, organizations would be unable to create data-driven improvement initiatives that focus on the quality of interactions.

CLASS PreK-K Environment for Observers
REQUIREMENTS: To be eligible to receive the CLASS-Environment for Observers product key you MUST be a reliable CLASS Observer. Region B will be vetting all applicants through Teachstone. Please ensure that your address on your Teachstone dashboard has CA listed as your state so your name will populate on their Reliable Observer List.
DESCRIPTION OF COURSE: Build a shared definition of quality learning environments. CLASS Environment offers a cost-effective, streamlined, and comprehensive program to measure and improve the features of the Pre-K–K learning environments that matter most for supporting effective interactions between educators and children. CLASS Environment Observer Training is a 2 Module 5-hour self-paced online training for observers to: Discover CLASS Environment and how the learning setting supports effective interactions. Prepare to use the CLASS Environment™ as an observation tool and assign scores for each item accurately.
Please note that Region B CLASS-Environment codes requests will be placed as received. Once the request is made to Teachstone, you should expect your code in 7-10 business days. Training materials will be shipped from Teachstone and should arrive to your mailing address within 2 weeks. Please plan accordingly.

CLASS Interaction Essentials for Educators
During the sessions of Interactions Essentials for Educators we will explore foundational concepts to increase intentionality of educator/child interactions. During the sessions, learners build knowledge of the PreK CLASS dimensions and their importance for children's learning and development. Learners will also receive support and guidance to develop intentional habits based on CLASS strategies. Registration enrolls you in a cohort that will participate together in each session throughout the program year.

Request ASPIRE Funded Training and/or Materials (Per funding availability)
To be completed by a CSPP Contractor or Block Grant Grantee. This form is to request that ASPIRE funds cover all associated costs for a trainer and/or materials for the following CLASS 2nd Edition trainings: New Observer Training, Overview for Leaders, Introduction to Interactions for Educators, Observer Transition Training, and (IEE) Interaction Essentials for Educators.
CLASS Observer & Trainer Recertification
Please complete the following form to request CLASS 2nd Edition Pre-K & PreK-3 Observer or CLASS 2nd Edition PreK-3 Trainer, & Interactions Essentials for Educators (IEE) recertification product keys. Recertification Product Key requests will be placed as received and you should receive your code by email within 7-10 days.
